The tagset is currently open to allow me to process some early nominations at a much more relaxed pace and get the hang of tag set wrangling.

I wanted to highlight an important part of the nominations rules that may have gotten lost in the ruleset: original characters MUST be nominated with some kind of clarifying information about what type of characters you are requesting. This clarification should be fairly specific.

Original Character Nominations that will be rejected

Original Male Character (Merlin TV)
Original Knight Character(s) (Merlin TV)
Original King Character (Merlin TV)
Group: Arthur/Original Knight (Merlin TV)

Original Character Nominations that will be approved

Original Female Page to Sir Gwaine (Merlin TV)
Original Knight on Pilgrimage to Uther's Court (Merlin TV)
Original Fae Character Who Escaped The Magic Purge (Merlin TV)
Group: Arthur/Original Knight Who Bested Him At Jousting (Merlin TV)

If you had nominations that were rejected for being too general, please contact me if you would like to add more specific versions of these tags to the tagset!

Update 8/7/2020: If you are nominating Characters and Groups for Fairy Tales, I have accepted all nominations of named characters (e.g. Beauty/Beast). Any unnamed/new characters/characters that are specific tropes or types, either by themselves or nominated as Group: should be rewritten and submitted under Original Works. Thank you!
